The wedding video we never got.

When Muzamir and I got married, we paid a videographer $750 in cash. He took the money and disappeared, and we never got our wedding video.

We can't watch our vows again, hear the speeches or see our families dancing. Thank God our photographer did an amazing job, but so much of the day is missing.

Our guests filmed and photographed so much on their phones that day. Almost none of it ever reached us.

What if the favour in a guest's hand was also the way their memories found their way back to you?

That's the part of ReelFavours I build. I design favours guests genuinely want to keep, and they're also a thank-you for helping capture the day, so no couple or host has the regret we have.

About me

From geologist to designer-founder.

I spent my career as a geologist, building 3D models of what lies underground and making sense of large, messy datasets. I studied at NUS, then started as an exploration geologist at Total in Singapore, mapping basins and generating prospects across East Asia.

As a TOTAL International Scholar, I did my Master's at IFP School in France, where our team won the EAGE Minus CO2 Challenge in 2020. I then joined PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency, as a Geologist and Executive Engineer. There I managed geological and GIS databases, ran soil investigations and government procurement, and led a national water-research project with NTU's Earth Observatory of Singapore.

Along the way I trained in 3D printing, rapid prototyping and design for additive manufacturing. Today I put all of that into ReelFavours: I model each favour in 3D, test and refine the prototypes, and find the right materials and makers to bring it to life.

I speak English, Malay and French.
